Crostini with mushrooms

Making use of the last of the polenta bread. The ultimate comfort food! Mushrooms on toast. What’s good about mushrooms – they contain vitamins, fibre and potassium. These are fried in a little oil and butter (you don’t need much) with a slither or two of garlic. You can add a dollop of cream (or creme freche) if you are feeling decadent. Delush!
